Now Health International, the international health insurance provider, today announces the opening of their latest operation in Indonesia.
Working with their underwriting partner in Indonesia, PT Asuransi Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Indonesia (SJNKI) which was established in June 2013*, Now Health’s range of regionally compliant plans are available to both individuals and companies. Both expatriates and Indonesian local nationals are able to buy the International Private Medical Insurance cover provided by Now Health.
The SJNKI-underwritten product in Singapore is based on Now Health's WorldCare plan with four different levels of cover: Essential, Advance, Excel and Apex. The annual maximum benefit limit for all plans is USD3m. There is an additional option for customers to have hospital treatment within Indonesia and Singapore in a semi-private room and receive a 5% premium discount.

It was established on June 1, 2013 as a new company, following the merger of between PT Sompo Japan Insurance Indonesia (established on 1978) and PT Asuransi Nipponkoa Indonesia (established in 1975) and the management integration of Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. and Nipponkoa Insurance Co.
