  • What is the new telemedicine service?

    In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the recent Dubai Health Authority mandate, we have acted fast to make available access to direct billing for telemedicines services for our UAE members*. This means you can access medical advice remotely, anywhere, anytime!

    *These services will be available on a temporary basis during the COVID-19 pandemic to help reassure our members during this difficult time.

    Telemedicine consultation fee and medication will be covered in accordance with the terms and conditions of your plan and subject to benefit limits.

    Please note any Out-Patient deductible, per visit excess or co-insurance will apply as per the terms of your plan. Members must be located in the UAE at the time of accessing the telemedicine services. These services are not available in Abu Dhabi. 

  • Why have you launched a telemedicine service?

    As part of our added value services strategy we are working to put in place a comprehensive telemedicine solution for our clients.

    However, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the recent Dubai Health Authority mandate, we understand there is an immediate need for these services. 

    We have therefore acted fast to make available access to direct billing for telemedicines services for our UAE members on a temporary basis*.

    *These services will be available on a temporary basis during the COVID-19 pandemic to help reassure our members during this difficult time.

    Telemedicine consultation fee and medication will be covered in accordance with the terms and conditions of your plan and subject to benefit limits.

    Please note any Out-Patient deductible, per visit excess or co-insurance will apply as per the terms of your plan. Members must be located in the UAE at the time of accessing the telemedicine services. These services are not available in Abu Dhabi. 

  • Where can I access direct billing telemedicine services?

    Our members can currently access direct billing telemedicine services at the following 23 providers in our network across the UAE (excluding Abu Dhabi), and we are working to add more to the list in the coming weeks. We will update you as an when others become available.

  • How can I access these telemedicine services?
    • If you wish to use a telemedicine consultation service, please contact one of the providers listed here directly to book an appointment, or visit their website for more information.
    • Please note some telemedicine services are available 24/7 while others are only available during operating working hours. Please check the provider's website for further details. 
    • Make sure you have your membership card to hand to prove eligibility for treatment. 
    • Don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any queries.

  • Who can access the telemedicine service?

    These telemedicine services are available to all Now Health International members in the UAE. 

  • Is the telemedicine service free?

    The telemedicine consultation fee and any medication expenses will be covered as per the terms of your plan. Any Out-Patient deductible, per visit excess or co-insurance will apply as per terms of your plan. 

    Please note, if your plan does not include Out-Patient cover, then you will not be eligible for reimbursement for a telemedicine Out-Patient consultation (e.g. GP consultation).

    If you choose to visit one of the providers listed above then you will be able to access these services on a direct billing basis. If you choose to use another telemedicine provider, you can these services on a pay and claim reimbursement basis only. However please note that the 'Reasonable and Customary Charges' condition of your plans will apply. Please refer to the Member's Handbook for further details.

  • Can I use any other telemedicine service in the UAE?

    As per the Dubai Health Authority mandate, we are accepting telemedicine claims at this time, as per the terms and conditions of your plan*. 

    If you wish to use another telemedicine service provider in the UAE not listed above, you can these services on a pay and claim reimbursement basis only. However please note that the 'Reasonable and Customary Charges' condition of your plans will apply. Please refer to the Member's Handbook for further details. 

    However we strongly encourage all our members to use one of the telemedicine providers listed above where possible so they can take advantage of our our direct billing network.
