  • When are the changes effective from?

    The changes to our plans and pricing are effective from 1 April 2023. 

  • Have premiums increased?

    We have made minimal premium increases to most of our individual and family plans to maintain competitiveness and ensure stability for your clients. In year of high global inflation we are very pleased to announce our continued commitment to long term price sustainability. Whilst everything around us is increasing in price, we have been working with our partners globally to contain medical costs and medical inflation. Premium increase for individual and family plans may vary across plans and age bands. 

  • What are the key benefit changes for WorldCare and SimpleCare? What cover has been enhanced?

    New Benefits and Enhancements we have made include:

    • Member Assistance Programme (MAP):   We will continue providing this as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting members with their well-being.
    • Renal failure and dialysis:  We have enhanced Day-Patient and Out-Patient benefits limits for the WorldCare Essential Plan and all SimpleCare Plans, and In-Patient benefit limits on SimpleCare Core.
    • Vitamins and Mineral Benefits: We now cover for vitamins and minerals on a reimbursement basis on SimpleCare 100, SimpleCare 250, and WorldCare Advance, Excel, Apex and WorldCare Essential optional Out-Patient Charges Option 1 and Out-Patient Charges Option 2.
    • Teleconsultation Services: We have renamed Telemedicine to Teleconsultation and made this even more convenient. Teleconsultation services will now be paid in full with Now Health International medical providers even if you have selected an Out-Patient co-insurance or co-pay per visit.
    • Out-Patient Psychiatric Illness: We have added this benefit to SimpleCare 100 and SimpleCare 250 plans, and WorldCare Essential optional Out-Patient Charges Option 1 and Out-Patient Charges Option 2.
    • Menopause Hormone Replacement Therapy (early onset only): We have introduced this benefit to SimpleCare 100, SimpleCare 250 and WorldCare Advance, Excel, Apex and WorldCare Essential optional Out-Patient Charges Option 1 and Out-Patient Charges Option 2.  
    • Mortal Remains: We have added a new Mortal Remains Benefit for all SimpleCare Plans.
    • Out-Patient Charges Option 3: We have introduced a new Out-Patient Charges Option 3 for the WorldCare Essential plan.  The new Out-Patient Charges Option 3 extends pre and post hospitalisation benefits and covers Out-Patient Emergencies at an Accident and Emergency department of a hospital. 
    • Dental Benefit: We have introduce a new optional Dental Benefit for WorldCare Essential and Advance plans.
    • Enhanced Benefit Limit for WorldCare: We have increased the benefit limits for WorldCare Essential optional Out-patient Charges Option 1 and Out-Patient Charges Option 2.
    • Other Changes:
      -We have introduced Pre-Authorisation for MRI and CT scans under the Diagnostic Procedures benefit.
      -Exclusions: We have made small changes to the Dietary Supplements, Vitamins and Minerals and Cosmetic Products and Hormone Replacement Therapy exclusion.

  • What changes have been made to loadings and discounts?

    We continue to offer 15% Large Family Discount for newly joining large families if a member adds a spouse and at least three children to their plan. 

    The 10% Family Discount is still available if member add a spouse and at least one child to the plan. 

  • What are the key benefits of Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for our clients?

    EAP for our employees:  We continue to offer counselling services for our clients through our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) as part of our ongoing commitment to assisting members with their well-being.
