Private health insurance has long been a factor in Ruhila’s life, usually as part of her employment benefits package. Ruhila has always felt having comprehensive private medical insurance is vital to her and her family, and has retained this outlook as she has moved into semi-retirement.
Ruhila always believed her insurance provider should show compassion and empathy alongside her cover, but often found this lacking in the past. However, Ruhila discovered these in abundance with Now Health International, finding that as well as providing comprehensive cover we’re always there to meet whatever needs she has.
Ruhila said: “I've been in the education sector since 1982.
“And being a Kenyan, we've always had to have good medical insurance, which has been part of our employment policies and packages as we've worked. And now even as we're semi-retired, we always try to make sure that one of the most important criteria taken care of for us and our families is the insurance and medical care that we need.
“But I felt the internationalism coming through with Now Health International because the way you just carried it and I'm away from Kenya, I'm away from people that I know, I was away from that whole comfort zone, and I haven't needed for a thing. I have been so well taken care of, not just on the medical side but on the social and emotional side, I can assure you.
“It's not there with even very big names. So I think it's like the difference between Now Health International and another provider is that it's a brought home experience.
“And from my surgeon to the administration to the customer care manager, everybody was in awe of the fact that every time I said something they said, but your insurance company has taken care of it, but this is taken care of. But your insurance company, my insurance company had me had my back all the way and you have been noticed.
“I do it even to people and not friends and family. I say to anybody, if you don't have insurance, please see Now Health!”
