Innovative mobile pass enhances customer experience

Now Health International has become one of the first specialist international health insurance providers to launch an environmentally conscious mobile pass membership card! Developed in partnership with leading mobile wallet technology company PassKit, the new mobile pass is designed to enhance the customer experience as part of our ambitious digital strategy.

This new innovation enables our members to download a digital version of their membership card straight to their smartphone wallet – there is no need for members to remember to carry printed membership cards, they can simply download their mobile pass for instant use, anytime, anywhere.

The mobile pass provides vital plan information including membership number, plan expiry date and any relevant co-insurance or deductible, as well as a click to call feature to contact our Customer Service team directly. It’s also fully integrated with our other digital tools, including secure online portfolio and smartphone App, to offer a seamless online experience.

What’s more, when visiting a medical provider, members can use the mobile pass to demonstrate their eligibility for treatment. We’ve developed a special App for medical providers so they scan the mobile pass for instant validation of our member’s cover. The mobile pass draws down information in real time from our database, meaning it provides greater certainty than a printed card which may become outdated.   

The mobile pass is available for both Apple Wallet and Google Pay and in four languages – English, Bahasa, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese – to cater for our global membership base. It is currently only available with our newly launched digital plan SimpleCare, but will be rolled out to all other members later this year.

The launch of the mobile pass membership card supports our ongoing efforts to ‘go green’ and reduce our impact on the environment, by limiting the need for printed membership cards. We encourage all our digitally savvy members to join us in going green, and adopting the mobile pass in favour of a printed membership card!
