How to access medical care
When you need medical treatment inside Hong Kong
If you need to seek out-patient treatment, you can find all the medical providers in your network by clicking on the link at the top of the page or downloading the app and inputting the access code. All you need to do is make an appointment and show your UMP membership card and we will take care of all the expenses.
If you need in or day-patient treatment inside Hong Kong, get in touch with us and we will arrange the treatment on your behalf so there is no need for you to pay.
If the treatment you need is not available within the network, your expenses will be paid in full.
If the treatment you need is available within the network and you either pay and claim back your expenses or you decide to go outside the network, a 30% co-insurance will be payable. Please note that if you have a group plan with an existing maternity or dental co-insurance in place, the additional co-insurance will be applied after the original one has been taken.
When you need medical treatment outside Hong Kong
If you need to seek out-patient treatment outside Hong Kong, you can use any of our cashless medical providers or pay for treatment and claim back your eligible medical expenses in the usual way. Find out more.
