SimpleCare – Where to get care

We’ve made it as simple and easy as possible for our members to use their SimpleCare health plan, so you can quickly and easily access the best care when you need to.

To keep the cost of SimpleCare as affordable as possible, there are some more expensive medical providers that are not available to use if you want to seek treatment. These are known as High-Cost Providers. Download the list here.

When you need in-patient treatment

If you need to be admitted to hospital for in-patient or day-patient treatment, you must contact us first to request treatment pre-authorisation.

We will then place a guarantee of payment with the medical provider so you don’t need to pay anything up front.

When you need out-patient treatment

If you have our SimpleCare 100 or SimpleCare 250 plan which includes out-patient treatment, you can choose to go to any medical practitioner of your choice or one from our network.

You can use our Find a Medical Provider Tool to help you find a medical provider in our network.

You will need to pay for your out-patient treatment and then claim back your expenses online using our easy to use digital tools.
