We are pleased to announce that our SimpleCare plans have today been launched in the UAE, marking another key milestone in the roll out of our new mid-tier product.
SimpleCare is now available in all the key markets in which we operate except mainland China, and we plan to launch in this market later this year.
Our new SimpleCare plans are designed to offer affordable international health insurance for the cost conscious, digitally savvy expat. SimpleCare provides vital protection for all major health incidents including hospitalisation, surgery, cancer treatment, and evacuation and repatriation, with the option to add low (up to USD 1,000) or medium (up to USD 2,500) levels of coverage for out-patient treatment, including physiotherapy, dental and alternative therapies.
SimpleCare is designed to be completely digital, with members only able to access their plan documents and make claims via a paper free, seamless online customer experience. In addition to our award winning digital tools including smartphone App and secure online portfolio, we’ve developed new cutting edge mobile passes which can be downloaded into members’ smartphone wallets, making it even easier for our customers to access their plan when on the move.
In the UAE we have also launched an innovative new tiered network with our SimpleCare plans. This means that members pay a higher co-insurance for top tier medical providers, and a lower or no co-insurance for those providers in a lower tier. This helps keep premiums affordable while ensuring members have access to a comprehensive network, with greater choice in where they seek medical treatment.
