Family Discount FAQ
The Family Discount is available to new and renewing members that meet the following criteria:
- Have a family plan (i.e. you, your spouse/ partner and at least one child)
- Have (or switch to) one of our enhanced WorldCare plans
- All family members are on the same plan, benefits and deductible
The Family Discount is available for our four enhanced WorldCare plans – Essential, Advance, Excel and Apex. You can find out more about our enhanced WorldCare plans here.
Our Family Discount offers a 10% discount on the premium for your whole family. This means the 10% discount is applied across the entire premium for all family members.
The 10% Family Discount is available for both new plans and at renewal, so you can continue to enjoy this discount every year you renew with us.
A family plan means you, your spouse/ partner and one child or more. There must be a least two adults and one child on the plan to qualify.
For existing members
Yes, all existing members on a family plan can access the discount when you renew with us, provided you meet the qualification criteria.
The Family Discount is only available with our enhanced WorldCare plans. You will be able to access the discount at renewal if you switch to one of our enhanced WorldCare plans, with higher benefits limits and new added value services. You can find out more about our enhanced WorldCare plans here.
The Family Discount is only available to existing members at renewal. It is not available at Mid-Term Adjustment (MTA), i.e. if you make changes to your plan mid-way through the year of coverage.
The Family Discount is only available to existing members at renewal. If by adding your newborn to your cover means you now have a family plan, you will be able to access the 10% Family Discount at your annual renewal.
Members will receive whichever discount is greater out of the No Claims Discount (NCD) or Family Discount.
The Family Discount cannot be applied in conjunction with any other discounts.
